Angels and demons, the main character Robert Langdon

Robert Langdon is the main character in three of Dan Browns novels. “Angels and Demons” being the first one, and “The Da-Vinci Code” and “The Lost Symbol” being the second and third.

Robert Langdon is an esteemed professor in symbology at Harvard Institute of Science. He is tall and athletically built. He swims 50 laps in the school swimming pool each day hence why he is so fit. He chooses to live his life as a bachelor so that he can enjoy his own simple pleasures. Some of those pleasures are art, music and quiet night in with a good book and a drink.

Dan Brown uses all of Roberts abilities throughout the books in a clever and orderly manner. His smarts, his physical strength  and also his common sense. His interest in the fields of symbology also makes for an interesting and exiting read.

Crash, the movie.

My initial reactions to the movie was that it was well made, but in a way too well made. The effects they used became very obvious and cliché at the end of the movie. To me it seemed like they tried too hard to just be better and better and better etc. This kept the movie away from being one of the best movies showcasing this theme and setting. Instead you end up with a good movie. Because, dont get me wrong, this is a well made movie with great characters played by great actors, but the atempt of making it superb ended up bringing it down for me.

How NOT to behave in your mentor buisness

Show up to your first meeting without clothes. Run around like a dim witted fool asking silly questions that don't make sense. Then sleep on a table in the cantina. When you are supposed to leave you can throw various objects out the window and then set everything on fire as you walk out the door.

How to behave in your mentor buisness

When you first meet your mentors, smile and greet them with your name. Act mature and take interest in what they say. Ask good questions and do as they say. Learn and develop as a person from the stay.

I'm sorry

I am truly sorry, sorry for the things we have done to your people. I apologize for what my ancestors have done wrong and what they haven’t done right.  I know can  never understand your pain, and I don’t want to. Because I don’t want to get hurt the same way you did. I do not mean this in any spiteful way, but what I mean is that I do not want to go through the hardships you have gone through. I don’t think anyone should ever have the same experience because of their race, skin color or religion. I am therefore truly sorry and want to apologize what I can for the things that has been done unto you. I want to apologize on behalf of the rest of the white society in Australia, and also on my own behalf. I know an apology can only do this much, but even if it helps just one or two, i will be satisfied.

I’m sorry!

Linking words task for thursday 23.09.94

The Banana is quite the spectacle, it is long, yellow and bent. However, its still a fruit, such as apples and oranges. Therefore, many people think that it's very ordinary. Until they taste the flabergasting taste that is the Banana. Then they will completely forget about all the other fruits that exists. There will only be one, and the one will be the Banana

In conclusion we can safely say that the Banana is superior to all its "relatives", and is the best choice when you pick a fruit in the store. BANANA!!!!!!
