Angels and demons, the main character Robert Langdon

Robert Langdon is the main character in three of Dan Browns novels. “Angels and Demons” being the first one, and “The Da-Vinci Code” and “The Lost Symbol” being the second and third.

Robert Langdon is an esteemed professor in symbology at Harvard Institute of Science. He is tall and athletically built. He swims 50 laps in the school swimming pool each day hence why he is so fit. He chooses to live his life as a bachelor so that he can enjoy his own simple pleasures. Some of those pleasures are art, music and quiet night in with a good book and a drink.

Dan Brown uses all of Roberts abilities throughout the books in a clever and orderly manner. His smarts, his physical strength  and also his common sense. His interest in the fields of symbology also makes for an interesting and exiting read.
